How soon can I receive my lampshade?
This varies depending on the level of detail in the shade. Once the design has been finalised, I can begin work and give you an idea of when the shade is likely to be finished. This could be anywhere between a week to a couple of weeks depending on the design/ the volume of orders. If you are ordering a shade as a gift and need it by a particular date, we can discuss this when the order is placed
Payment
As each shade is bespoke, I ask that payment is made once the design has been shared with the customer and finalised. Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash. If the order should be cancelled once work has begun, a refund cannot be given.
How much do the lampshades, stitched pictures and lanterns cost?
20 cm diameter lampshade £70
30cm diameter lampshade £90
10cm diameter battery powered tea light lantern £30
6" x 4" stitched picture (framed) £40
Each piece of work is designed from scratch. I then use bought and repurposed fabrics and embellishments to make the design and use hand stitching and machine stitching on my work. The lanterns and shades are then hand rolled onto their frames to make the finished pieces. Each individual piece takes hours of work and is a labour of love.
Can my lampshade be delivered?
Arrangements for delivery of the shade are made on an individual basis. Often, the shades are delivered by me or collected by the customer. If I am required to post the shade, the customer will be responsible for any postage costs incurred (this can be discussed prior to the shade being made)
